FORD OAK 2-7 BEDWORTH LIBERAL Dave Merry 2
Ford Oaks dissapointing run of form continued as they where beaten by Bedworth Libs.An awful start saw the Oak 2-0 down within the first few minutes, with both goals coming from Oak errors. The Libs missed a few chances to extend there lead and David Merry made them pay by pulling a goal back. From then on the remainder of the first-half was nothing short of shambolic as the Libs scored 4 quickfire goals to go 6-1 up.Mezza added his 2nd of the game to make it 6-2 with an excellent indavidual goal just before half-time.The 2nd-half was a slight improvement for the Arbury Roaders and maybe should have eaten into the Libs lead but it was the Libs who added a late seventh and it ended 7-2.More bad news is that the influential Andy Parkes has been ruled out long term with a knee injury. Things have got to turn around quickly, the players are there and manager Lloyd and newly appointed assistants Steve Hill and Craig Kemp will be working hard as usual to make sure we get out of this slump.
